Steve Burns is an American born in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, on 9th October 1973. He was brought up with his father, Joseph, Mother, Janet, and his two sisters Karen and Jennifer. Steve’s father worked at Safeguard Business System as a human resource director after leaving the United States Navy, and in 2015, he sadly succumbed to cancer.
Steve Burns went to Boyertown Area High school, and in 1992 he graduated. He was admitted on an acting scholarship to DeSales University to study theatre. As a high school and university student, Burns participated in the band Sudden Impact US, the Ivys, and Nine Pound Truck.

In 1995, Steve Burn auditioned for “Blue’s Clues” with an earring, Army fatigue pants, and long hair. Initially, Nickelodeons executives were not pleased with the idea of Steve being the host. Still, the show creators asked him to dress conservatively during the subsequent auditions, and he acquired the job. On 8th September 1996, “Blue’s Clues” premiered.
