Early Life
George P. Bush was born on 24th April 1976, in Houston, Texas, United States, to Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, and Columba Bush. He is the eldest son and has two other siblings: younger brother John Ellis Bush Jr. and younger sister Lucila Bush.
Bush went to Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami. In 1994, he got arrested in the Killian area of Miami for burglary but wasn’t charged. Bush graduated from Rice University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in history, then joined the University of Texas School of law in 2000, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 2003.

George P. Bush started his career as a teacher in 1998. He taught social studies at his hometown high school until June 1999. He was also the chairman of Tarrant County for a charter school district, Uplift Education in Dallas. Later that year, Bush left the position and joined the University of Texas Law School.
In 2003, Bush worked as a clerk for the United States District Judge, Sydney A. Fitzwater, until 2004 where he practiced security and corporate law with Gump, Strauss, and Hauer &Feld LLP in Dallas. In 2005, he got selected among the Texas Monthly Rising Stars for his work at Akin Gump. Bush was also a partner at Pennybacker Capital, LLC, a private equity company in Austin, from 2007 to 2012. The firm was previously named N3 Capital and based in Fort Worth.
On 21st March 2007, the US Navy Reserve announced Bush’s selection for training as an intelligence officer in the direct commission officer program, a navy program that applicants specializing in the civilian field relinquish prerequisites commission such as NROTC, Naval Academy, or OCS.
