Early Life
42 Dugg was born in the eastside of Detroit, Michigan, United States, on 25th November 1994. His official name is Dion Marquise Hayes. Information regarding his parents and siblings is unknown. At the age of fifteen, Dugg became homeless and often got into trouble. He had no time to attend school as most of the time he spent partying. He got arrested when he was fifteen years old after going through legal trouble and was imprisoned for six years. Dugg was always in trouble from a tender age. He never attended school as he spent most of his time at parties. When he was fifteen years old, he got into legal trouble and was imprisoned for six years. He was involved in constant fights as a prisoner, and during his fifth year in prison, he was put in his own cell. He developed a love for music while there and found relaxation when creating and listening to music.
When he got out of prison in 2017, he started his career as a musician and intended to take his music career to the next level. It didn’t take long before he got recognized by Lil Baby, a rising rapper by then. In 2018, the two met when Dugg took a flight to Atlanta to meet Lil Baby and his team.
